Dawn Ellinwood Denslow is an expertly trained and established colorist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry.
The past twelve years Dawn has been working for Frederic Fekkai Salon and Spa in Beverly Hills as a Designer Colorist. Dawn is very knowledgeable in coloring techniques and specializes in Balayage Highlights, Dawn’s work has been acknowledged and featured in magazines, such as LA Confidential, Marie Claire, Elle, Town and Country, Playboy, More and Teen. Her work has also been featured in movies, Legally Blonde, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde, Clock Stoppers, Fast and Furious, and Southland Tales just to name a few. Dawn currently works with many celebrities including Dana Delany on Desperate Housewives, Julie Gonzolo from Eli Stone and Patricia Heaton from Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle.
Along with being a highly trained colorist Dawn has been a triathlete for over 15 years and in that time has gone from competing in sprint triathlons to completing the prestigious Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Along with her athletics Dawn has developed her leadership skills with courses from Landmark Education and Primeco Consulting, including the intensive Bravehearts Leadership Program. She was a senior level coach with Primeco Consulting for over 3 years, coaching individuals in their productivity, producing results, effectiveness, and skillful communication.
